It is so well said, “A thing done successfully with effort, skill and courage is an achievement which is always fruitful” and on 1st February 2016 the students of Class X and XII of Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow got the reward for their skills, efforts, talent, hard work and generosity shown in their Academic year 2015-2016. Superior Sister Helen began the event by the prayer service. The students were awarded with medals, trophies and certificates. “When we expect something and we get it we are happy but when we don’t expect anything and we get something it makes us the happiest one”, in the same way Head girl Yashi Negi was awarded with a special award titled as the “Most Popular Person Award” and to reach this stage is a great achievement.
They took an Oath for performing their duties and responsibilities with loyalty, and after accomplishing their goal successfully the badge-holders of Class X and XII took retirement from their duties and responsibilities by handing over the flags and badges to Principal Ma’am George so that the upcoming generation can be given the responsibilities and duties. The Head girl shared her beautiful memories and remarkable experiences of her last academic year at Loreto. The Head girl shared all her emotions with a wonderful speech. Principal Ma’am told a very interesting story of “Appu the Kite” and congratulated all the award winners. At the end all the students sang Loreto Chorus and successfully accomplished the Prize Distribution Ceremony.
