“Great design comes from interaction, conflicts, argument, competition and debate.” On 6th May 2016, Middle School Inter-House English Debate Competition was held at Delphine Hart Auditorium of Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow. The students of Ball House, Hart House, Hogan House and Ward House participated in it. The topic of the debate was “Determination is more important than talent for achieving” the competition was tough yet interesting and the students not only spoke for or against the topic but also answered the questions of their opponents as well as the audience. Ward House won the Best house and the Best speaker ‘for’ the motion was Ananya Tangri from Hogan House and Best speaker ‘against’ the motion was Karthika Pisharody.
