“Every right implies a responsibility, every opportunity an obligation, every possession, a duty,” “responsibility is accepting that you are the cause and the solution of the matter.”On 16th April, 2016 Investiture Ceremony was held at the Delphine Hart Auditorium of Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow. The choir sang the Hymns and prayers for the office bearers. Principal Sr. Anjuman prayed for all the new office bearers and gave the badges and chains to the duty holders. Deepti Srivastava of Class XII-Science was elected as the Head Girl and Yashita Khulbe of Class X-A as the Vice Head Girl of the institute. House captains were given their house flags and vice captains were given chains as a symbol of authority. Niharica Bhalla of Class XII-Commerce and Navya Gupta of Class X-C were elected as the JPIC Captain and JPIC Vice-Captain and Swajil Agrahari and Shambhavee Shukla were elected as the Games Captain and Games Vice-Captain. Prefects and Club Presidents for various fields such as Computer, Literary, Music Games, and Environment were also given badges. After receiving their chains and badges, the officer bearers took Oath to “promising to faithfully perform all their duties and maintain high standards and uphold the ideals and tradition of the institution.” Audience applauded when the Principal Sr. gave the authority and duties to the office bearers. Principal Sr. Anjuman congratulated all the office bearers and told them do fulfill their duties with full devotion and loyalty. At the end of the ceremony everyone sang Loreto Chorus and the event was successful.
