Sister has always been like a tree: Strong in every situation, Shade when the sun was harsh, Provider when the hunger blew away sleep and an inspiration to be who we are and achieve what we can. It was a very heart touching moment when they all said “We’ll miss you Sister Helen” and tough to say good bye to a lady who has always been so loving, caring and delightful. On 6th May 2016, Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow did “Prayer Service” for their dearest Sister Helen. The students prayed for Sr. Helen, they sang, they danced, and they expressed their feelings by a poem, recalling all the moments they spent with Sister and also presented a power point presentation displaying the hard work done, generosity, love, affection and care given by the Sister to the Institution and its members. Students also performed dancing act showing the flash back of Sister Helen’s life at Loreto Convent which was very much appreciated by the Sister in her speech. Students gave flower bouquets and cards as a gift to Sister. Principal Sister Anjuman also expressed her feelings and gratitude for Sister. At the end Superior Sister Helen gave best wishes to all the students, teachers and the staff members and also gave a bowed down tribute to all for arranging this amazing memorable program. The Prayer Service ended with Loreto Chorus. “Good Byes are not forever. Good Byes are not the end. They simply mean we’ll miss you until we meet again.”
