The JPIC Club of Loreto Convent Intermediate College organized an inter-house WASTE TO WEALTH competition with the objective of promoting eco-friendly practices among the students. The competition challenged the students to transform old waste materials into useful products, emphasizing the importance of recycling and sustainability. Different classes were assigned specific waste items to work with, and the event culminated with an exhibition of the students’ creations in the senior school hall.
The competition took place within a time frame of one hour and 30 minutes. Each participating class was allotted specific waste materials to utilize in their projects. During the competition, the students displayed remarkable creativity and resourcefulness as they worked diligently to craft their products. Following the competition, the school principal and judges visited the senior school hall to witness the impressive array of products made by the students.
