“Do you remember a small bird which was around us all through our younger days? Can you be able to remember its chirping sounds?” A seminar was conducted by the members of Van Vibhaag at the junior basketball court of Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow for celebrating World Sparrow Day. They were spreading awareness about the declining population of sparrow. They also distributed a few bird houses to students and teachers so that the sparrows can make their nests and in April which is their breeding time of sparrows in this time they can get safe homes. They also told the students about how and why the populations of sparrow are declining. Superior Sister Helen and Principal Ma’am L. George also motivated students for making their own bird houses and show their creativity. The event was successful as the mission of this seminar was accomplished.
