On 17th December 2015 Christmas was celebrated at Jagriti Loreto School of Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow. The students performed a play retelling the story of “Birth of Lord Jesus Christ.” The play was so fascinating the audience was mesmerized. The students also gave dance performances and sang a group ‘Qawali’. Principal Ma'am George also wished the students Merry Christmas. Christmas without Santa Claus is just like a Coffee without sugar, flower without fragrance and an event without fun, children were waiting for the Santa and as they heard HO! HO! HO! All the students came outside the hall in the ground and then they saw, “Santa Clause came running along with his bag full of sweets.” Superior Sister Helen met Santa and asked him to give sweets to these lovely children. All the children were so excited when they saw Santa that everyone surrounded the Santa. Superior Sister Helen helped Santa in distributing the sweets among the children. All the children were immensely happy. They all thanked Superior Sister Helen and all the teachers for such a lovely celebration of Christmas this year. “Wish You all a Merry Christmas..!!!”
