Description:
The JPIC Club (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) at Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow began with a mega plantation drive on 9th August, 2017. This drive reaffirms the pledge taken up by the Loreto Schools at the JPIC NGM held in New Delhi in September 2016 to dedicate 1 lakh trees to the Nation by the year 2020.
Loreto Convent, Lucknow would conduct this drive in 8 stages beginning on 9th August and ending on 6th September, 2017. During this period the students will plant approximately 7,000 trees at Baba Saheb BhimRao Ambedkar Central University Campus.
This plantation drive has been realized due to the keen interest and active support of Dr. R. C. Sobti (Vice Chancellor, BBAU) and Sister Anjuman (Principal, Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow).
