HEART-WARMING AFFAIRS
Description:
In an effort to give it back to the society a heartwarming programme was recently organised by the student council of Loreto Convent Intermediate College, Lucknow for the inmates of old age homes. The guests were from DC Home, Samarpan Old Age Home, Hanumant Vridha Ashram and Bhavna, Park Road. The Programme began with a Prayer Service followed by a cultural show of song and dance. A number of activities and competitive games were also held to boost their zeal and enthusiasm. The winners were given several gifts. Delectable refreshments were served to the elderly prepared by the students themselves that includes cakes, sandwiches and noodles. To conclude the day a hamper including several utility items was also distributed to the guests. The day was a memorable affair for all.
