The Jagriti Annual Concert 2025 was a grand celebration of talent, creativity, and cultural heritage. This year’s theme, “Vikram Betal,” brought the timeless tales of King Vikramaditya and the wise, witty Betal to life through an engaging blend of drama, dance, and music. Students from various grades showcased their artistic abilities with confidence and grace, presenting a harmonious fusion of traditional storytelling and contemporary stagecraft.
The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest, Sr. Amia, along with Ma’am S. B. Hasan, Ma’am M. R. Singh, and Ma’am M. Dey, symbolizing the auspicious beginning of the event. This was followed by a beautiful Prayer Dance that set a serene and grateful tone for the evening.
The highlight of the concert was the dramatic rendition of Vikram Betal, presented in three captivating segments. Students performed energetic and thematic dances including the Boom Boom Dance, Jungle Dance, Naag Dance, and Betal Dance, each showcasing impressive coordination, rhythm, and expression. Their performances reflected dedication, teamwork, and a deep understanding of the theme.
The event concluded with a grand finale that left the audience spellbound. The motivating speech by the Honourable Chief Guest inspired students to continue nurturing their talents. This was followed by words of appreciation from Sr. Superior Sr. Amia, and a heartfelt Vote of Thanks presented by Ma’am A. Dhali.
A delightful surprise awaited the students as Awards were presented for outstanding performances in leading roles and dance categories. These awards, generously sponsored by Ma’am S. B. Hasan, were deeply appreciated and served as a strong encouragement for the young performers.
To conclude the evening on a warm and cheerful note, food boxes were distributed by the Loreto Alumnae Association, along with refreshments for parents, graciously arranged by our Sisters.
The event was a memorable celebration of artistic brilliance, teamwork, and the enduring spirit of Jagriti. Thank you
